Pitcher is a collection of solo performances with voice, piano accordion, and electronics. Voice is manipulated by alfoil, slide whistles, paper, de-constructed accordion parts, multiphonics, harmonics. Accordion is slapped and shaken. Composition is constructed through improvisation. Each performance is a new movement.
“…Carolyn Connors proves she needs no electronics to transition from a clear vocal tone to inhuman white noise” Manhunter album launch 2013

Carolyn teaches voice, improvisation, piano, ukulele, and tech. She also enjoys mentoring and the outside eye role.
She is passionate about the possibilities for experimentation, composition, education, and connection. Music, art, and performance are variously process, goal, template, and experience: the world becomes a bigger, broader, deeper, funner place.
“…As a performer, mentor and teacher, Carolyn Connors continues to initiate students into the craft of vocal improvisation” vocal folds – Gertrude Contemporary
