Three years ago in Naples I kept noticing these ladies dressed in purple and sporting bright red hats.  I saw them here and there, visiting museums, out shopping and lunching with their friends.  One day a group came out of the Aqua Grill and I asked if I could take their picture.  That was the inspiration for Red Hat’s #1.  I say this could be Red Hat Ladies East as they could be in a New York Museum as well.
