This print is originally an oil painting.  My grandfather, Oscar Wold, was a Norwegian Lutheran missionary stationed in China.  While recovering from a serious illness he made all of the lace that this dress is made of.  All of his children and the following 3 generations have been baptized in this dress.  The quilt was made for me by an Oneida Indian woman who gave it to me as a wedding present.  My parents were missionaries to the Winnebago and Oneida Indians in northern Wisconsin for 20 years.
