Seeing flowers and patterns in china and linen is a powerful inspiration for me.  On a trip to Italy and France I saw yellow broom, a common wild flower that grows across Europe and fell in love with it.  For this painting I combined some of my favorite French linens that I purchased in the South of France with these gorgeous flowers.
