What is a Giclee?

Although the technology behind giclee prints is evolving, the description of a true giclee is simple and consistent: a high quality print that will resist fading and color shift over time and match the detail and color of the original piece as closely as possible.  The artwork is digitally scanned into a computer and printed out on state-of-the-art equipment.
